Lindsay Park Baptist Church was started in 1957 as an offshoot from Kingsbury Baptist Church, two miles away.
We are a well-established evangelical church committed to the preaching of God’s Word and we are blessed to have a well-mixed and caring fellowship. Our Pastor, Roger Martin, leads with his wife Sarah who also heads-up CAP Life Skills.
In our worship we aim for a lively mix of modern and traditional songs. We use multi-media technology to enhance our worship.
We are members of the London Baptist Association and the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
Our church is prominently situated on a main road, a short walking distance from the centre of Kingsbury. There are good transport links in the locality. Kingsbury tube station is only 5 minutes walk from the church, and is on the Jubilee line which goes straight into Central London. Overground lines are also just a short bus ride/drive away and there are good bus services to other local areas. The M1 and A1 are only 15-20 minutes drive away, and the M25 only about 20 minutes drive away.
We currently have one worship service on a Sunday:
Our Morning Service begins at 10.30am and lasts about an hour. All ages meet together for the first 20 minutes and then the children go off to their sessions. These services are also live-streamed via YouTube & Facebook. (please go to the Links page to access these)
Pastoral Community Groups (PCG) – We have groups that meet Tuesday evenings, fortnightly (currently online), to support and equip people to apply their faith in daily life.
Exploring Christian Life - We aim to restart these weekly sessions, on Thursday mornings followed by free lunch provided by our Community Kitchen. They explore various themes we all face in life and how Christian faith can help and guide us.
Prayer – When COVID restrictions ease we aim to restart our weekly prayer group meeting at 10:30am on Wednesdays mornings in the room 5 at the church.
Messy Church – When COVID restrictions ease we aim to restart Messy Church, once a month at 10:30am on a Saturday morning and is a great family time of fun and creativity. It is a very popular event!
Community Kitchen Wednesday 1-3pm. Currently we provide food parcels at the door. If you find yourself unable to afford groceries, please come along.
